Powergrid, a Maharatna CPSU, under the Ministry of Electricity, Government of India, signed a Memorandum (MOU) with Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, so that seven universal medical equipment can be provided under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The MoU includes the provision of seven advanced medical machines to support the Urology and Reenal Departments of Safdarjung Hospital. Equipment will help improve clinical and treatment capabilities for patients suffering from urinary and kidney related diseases. the memorandum of understanding has been officially signed during a formal program held on July 24, 2025 at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital.
Memorandum of Mou was signed by Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel) of PowerGrid; Dr. (Prof.) Sandeep Bansal, Director, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital; Dr. Charu Bamba, MS, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital; Mr. Jasbir Singh, Executive Director (CSR), PowerGrid; Along with Other Senior Officials of Both Organizations. this CSR Initiative is to Strengthen Important Health Care Infrastructure and Benefit Thousands of Disadvantaged Patients Under Safdarjung Hospital. This reflects the Ongoing Commitment of PowerGrid for Social Welfare and Public Health Progress.
Through this mou, the powergrid will facilitate the purchase of state – -the -art medical equipment, which will help the hospital to increase poster Improve health results in urology and nephrology departments.
