Mr. Amiy Nandan Sinha, Inspector General and Chief Security Commissioner/Railway Protection Force/North Central Railway, awarded commendation letters to Deputy Inspector Ravindra Singh Rajawat, Railway Protection Force Post Gwalior, Jhansi, for his commendable work.

During the month of March, Deputy Inspector Ravindra Singh Rajawat arrested three accused involved in smuggling a total of 41.30 kilograms of marijuana, valued at Rs. 4,31,000/-, under Operation Narcoja. He handed them over to the civil police.

Under the passenger safety operation, while performing crime prevention duties, he apprehended a clever accused, who habitually stole passenger belongings, with a stolen mobile phone estimated at Rs. 22,000/- from train number 11058 and handed him over to the GRP/Gwalior.

During the investigation of suspicious user IDs, under Operation Uplabdh, a ticket tout was apprehended with Rs. 5,820/- worth of two tickets for future travel and Rs. 1,075/- worth of two tickets for past travel, obtained illegally from the reservation counter of Gwalior Railway Station. Based on his statement, a case was registered under Section 143 of the Railway Act against the operator of Bambe Tour Travels for unlawfully booking tickets.

Inspector General and Chief Security Commissioner/Railway Protection Force/North Central Railway regularly encourage force members and boost their morale by awarding commendation letters/rewards, and such actions are also communicated to the Railway Board.
