On the occasion of the centenary celebration of the establishment of the Central Hospital of the Railways, a continuous medical education (CME) conference was organized on March 28 at Metro Hospital, Faridabad. The conference was conducted in two sessions. In the first session, lectures were delivered on “Lean Management in Health Care” by Dr. Kalpana Mishra, Additional Chief Medical Officer; “Management of Adolescent Abnormal Uterine Bleeding” by Dr. Vidya, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer; and “Chronobiology” by Dr. Rohit Kumar, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer. Medical officers from other divisions of the North Central Railway Zone also participated in this event. Dr. Rakesh from Jhansi Division, Dr. Shobha Dayal from Agra, and Dr. Rekha from Kanpur, along with medical director Dr. S.K. Handoo, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Satya Prakash Sharma, Dr. Manju Lata Handoo, Dr. Usha Yadav, Dr. Mrityunjay Kumar, Dr. S.S. Nayak, Dr. Anurag Yadav, Dr. Parvez Ahmad, Dr. Shalini Singh, Dr. Nupur Pandey, Dr. Tanya Srivastava, Dr. Gaurav Anand, and Dr. Dastagir, also participated. In the second session, lectures were presented on “Immunotherapy in Oncology” by Dr. Sumant Gupta from Metro Hospital, Faridabad, “Fatty Liver Disease” by Dr. Neeraj Dhar, and “Yardstick in Cervical and Lumbar Degenerative Disorders” by Dr. Rahul Kumar. On this occasion, senior officials from the North Central Railway Zone, including Chief Medical Director Dr. J.P. Ravat, Chief Health Director Dr. Prakash Murmu, former Chief Medical Director Dr. Anand Tandon, Dr. Vineet Agrawal, and former Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Aroda, Dr. Ashok Kumar, etc., were also present. All these individuals were honored by the Central Hospital with a memento as a token of appreciation.
