A significant milestone in India’s chemical and energy sector was marked at India Energy Week 2026, as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) signed a 10-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Deepak Phenolics for the assured supply of Propylene and Benzene.
The MoU was signed by Shri Tarun Kumar, General Manager (Sales & Strategy), BPCL I&C Business, and Shri Balram S. Kushwah, President & Chief Commercial Officer, Deepak Group, in the presence of Shri Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing), BPCL, and Shri Manoj Menon, Business Head (Industrial & Commercial), BPCL, further strengthening long-term collaboration across the chemical value chain.
This strategic long-term partnership will support India’s domestic manufacturing ecosystem by ensuring assured feedstock availability and enhancing supply chain reliability, in line with Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives. It also reflects BPCL’s focus on collaborations that drive downstream integration, industrial growth, and the nation’s evolving energy and manufacturing landscape.
