Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) to implement solar power solutions across 244 buildings in Delhi. The MoU was exchanged by Sh. Manas Ranjan Mishra, DGM & HoD (Solar), SECI, and Er. Deepak Sachdeva, CE (Electrical), NDMC, in the presence of Sh. Keshav Chandra, IAS, Chairman, NDMC.
The initiative aims to promote renewable energy adoption, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance energy sustainability across Delhi’s civic infrastructure. By leveraging solar technology, the collaboration will strengthen the city’s green energy transition, optimize energy costs, and support India’s broader goals of expanding solar capacity and achieving net-zero emissions. This partnership underscores SECI and NDMC’s commitment to a sustainable and environmentally responsible urban ecosystem.
