Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on Tuesday formally announced the launch of its Public Issue of Secured, Rated, Listed and Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) at a press conference held in Mumbai.
The media interaction was addressed by PFC Chairperson and Managing Director Parminder Chopra, Director (Finance) Sandeep Kumar, along with the lead managers to the issue and senior officials of the corporation. The leadership shared key insights into the proposed issue and PFC’s strategic priorities.
According to PFC, the funds mobilised through the public issue will be utilised to strengthen its financing activities in the power and infrastructure sectors, supporting long-term and inclusive growth. The NCDs are proposed to be issued in multiple series, offering different tenures and interest payment options. Subject to regulatory approvals, the debentures will be listed on recognised stock exchanges, ensuring transparency and liquidity for investors.
During the press conference, PFC leadership underlined the organisation’s strong financial fundamentals, consistent performance, and commitment to sustainable development. It was also highlighted that the NCD issue has received ratings from credit rating agencies, reflecting the corporation’s stability and creditworthiness.
