National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Kundli (NIFTEM-K), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), has signed nine strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and transferred seven breakthrough technologies to industry partners during World Food India-2025 (WFI-2025). These initiatives aim to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry in the food processing sector.
NIFTEM-K collaborated with leading organizations, industry partners, and academic institutes, including the Quality Council of India, The Good Food Institute, Almond Board California, Danone India, Clear Meat Pvt. Ltd., Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, and other prominent entities.
The institute handed over licenses for seven innovative technologies to reputed companies:

High Nutrient RTE Bars & Probiotic Products – Hexagon Nutrition Ltd.
Rapid Cattle Pregnancy Kit & Paneer Adulteration Kit – ARF Life Sciences
Eggless Cake Premix Technology – Crop Pure Pvt. Ltd.
Millet Puffs – Yes Bee Foods Pvt. Ltd.
Saksham Anganwadi & Mission Poshan 2.0 Initiatives – Interlink Foods Pvt. Ltd.
Unfermented Mayo – Jiwanmitra Nutraceuticals Pvt. Ltd.
MoUs and technology transfers were formalized during WFI-2025, held recently in India.
The agreements were executed at NIFTEM-K, Kundli, in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
These collaborations aim to drive food innovation, enhance nutritional security, and promote sustainable growth in India’s food processing sector. The initiative empowers entrepreneurs, supports industry-academia partnerships, and delivers impactful solutions for society.
Through strategic MoUs and technology transfers, NIFTEM-K enables industry partners to commercialize innovative products, scale up production, and implement nutritionally enriched and sustainable food solutions, reinforcing India’s position as a hub for food technology and entrepreneurship.
