Organization of an awareness camp on the topic “Body Composition Analysis and Importance of Nutrition in Lifestyle Diseases” at Railway Central Hospital on March 13 As part of the centenary celebrations, an awareness camp was organized under the direction of Medical Director Dr. SK Handu on the topic “Body Composition Analysis and Importance of Nutrition in Lifestyle Diseases.” The key speaker of the camp was Mrs. Arpana Saxena, senior dietician. He explained the ways to eliminate obesity, a disease caused by modern lifestyles, through food and nutrition. He also threw light on the misconceptions related to diet and obesity. In the camp, the body fat, percentage of water, metabolic rate, muscles, and bones of 125 people were examined, after which proper suggestions related to nutrition were also given to the people.
Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Surya Prakash Sharma, Dr. Manju Lata Hundu (ACHD), Dr. Usha Yadav (ACHD), and Dr. Anurag Yadav (Sr. DMO) were also present in the camp and addressed the people and contributed.
Arrangements for organizing the camp were made by Mrs. Modesta Topno (CNS), Mrs. Sita Rani Gupta (CNS), Mrs. Sumanti (CNS), Mr. Amit (SNS), Mr. Rajkumar Chief Pharmacist, Mr. Shravan Kumar Health Education Broadcaster, etc.
