SANDEEP KUMAR |: – The Indian Navy flagged off a major car rally today from Varunika Naval Auditorium, New Delhi, aimed at deepening engagement with citizens and promoting maritime awareness across the heartland of India. The event, led by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, signals a strategic effort to connect the Navy with communities in culturally and historically significant regions.
The eight-day rally will cover 1,700 kilometres, passing through Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kanpur, with participation from 34 individuals, including serving naval personnel and members of the Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA). The route has been chosen to maximize public engagement and highlight India’s rich heritage.
