At the Powergrid HR Tech Conference 2025 held on 25 November, Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), GAIL (India) Ltd, shared impactful insights during a panel discussion on “Emotional Resilience in Today’s Technology-Driven Workplace.”
Gupta underscored that even as organisations embrace rapid digital transformation, the human connect must remain at the core. He highlighted patience and tolerance as crucial behavioural skills for professionals navigating today’s technology-led ecosystem.
He also outlined GAIL’s progress in digital HR initiatives, such as the AI Tarang programme, along with multiple RPA and AI-based interventions aimed at strengthening employee development and creating future-ready, AI-empowered teams. Gupta reaffirmed that HR continues to act as the cultural anchor of organisations, nurturing workplaces built on learning, collaboration and growth.
Encouraging professionals to engage with technology thoughtfully, he urged them to adopt a more inquisitive approach, advising them to “stop being a digital slave and start being curious.”
