Rishi Sunak and family receive a warm welcome from top officials at Parliament House
Rishi Sunak, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, visited Parliament House in New Delhi today with his wife, Akshata Murty, and their daughters, Krishna and Anoushka. They were joined by Smt. Sudha Murthy, Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, accompanied the Sunak family during their visit.
The distinguished guests were warmly greeted by Shri Utpal Kumar Singh, Secretary General of the Lok Sabha, and Shri P.C. Mody, the Secretary General of the Rajya Sabha, was also present to welcome the Sunak family.
During their visit, the Sunak family had the opportunity to tour the impressive Parliament House Complex, marveling at its grand architecture. The family explored key locations such as the Galleries, Chambers, Constitution Hall, and Samvidhan Sadan.
This visit comes shortly after Rishi Sunak’s trip to the Taj Mahal with his family on 15 February 2025, as part of their ongoing engagement with India.
