Punjab National Bank (PNB) was honored with two prestigious Rajbhasha Kirti Awards at the 4th All India Rajbhasha Conference, organized by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on September 14-15, 2024. PNB’s in-house magazine “PNB Pratibha” received the First Prize for Rajbhasha Kirti, while the bank itself was awarded the Second Prize for its efforts in promoting the use of Hindi.
These awards were received by PNB’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Shri Atul Kumar Goel, from Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, and Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai.
On September 15, 2024, during the second session of the conference, Shri Atul Kumar Goel delivered an impactful lecture on topics related to the Town Official Language Implementation Committee. Additionally, PNB set up an attractive stall and exhibition at the conference venue, Bharat Mandapam. The exhibition featured a Rajbhasha quiz kiosk, which saw enthusiastic participation from the attendees, with prizes awarded to the winners.
