Indian Statistical Service (ISS), Indian Skill Development Service (ISDS), and Central Engineering Service (CES) called on President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.
During the interaction, President Murmu emphasized the pivotal role of the new officers in nation-building. She highlighted that their service with passion, integrity, and dedication will contribute to making India more prosperous, resilient, and inclusive.
Addressing the ISS probationers, the President stressed the importance of accurate statistical analysis in policy formulation and implementation. ISDS probationers, the President highlighted that skills and knowledge are key drivers of economic growth and social progress. She urged young officers to equip India’s workforce with advanced technological skills, ensuring the country is prepared for emerging global challenges and opportunities.
President addressed the CES probationers, recognizing the role of engineers in driving technological progress and infrastructure development. She encouraged sustainable and environment-friendly practices, noting the CPWD’s initiatives in this regard, and emphasized their contribution to large-scale national projects.
