Sandeep Kumar | New Delhi | September 2025 – POWERGRID has been awarded the 56th EEPC India National Award for export excellence in the Star Performer Award for the year 2023-24 in the “Product Group: Project Export: Large Business” category. The award ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
The award was presented by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Electronics and IT Jitin Prasad.
Representing POWERGRID at the ceremony, Adish Kumar Gupta, Executive Director (Corporate Communications, Law and ESMD), Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Chief Operating Officer – International Trade, and Anshuman Tandon, Chief General Manager (Corporate Communications) received the prestigious award.
The honor outlines its significant contribution in the leadership of POWERGRID in international project exports and India’s global presence in the power sector. With specialization in transmission infrastructure and international trade, large -scale, beyond the POWERGRID borders, continue to strengthen India’s position in providing sustainable power solutions.
The award is part of EEPC India’s long -term initiative to recognize and encourage outstanding contribution of Indian companies in engineering exports.
