Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has called on its customers to update their Know Your Customer (KYC) information by August 12, 2024, in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. This request applies specifically to customers whose accounts were due for KYC updates as of March 31, 2024.
PNB customers are asked to submit their updated KYC details, including identity proof, address proof, recent photograph, PAN, income proof, and mobile number (if not previously provided), to their base branch. This can be done via the PNB ONE App, Internet Banking Services (IBS), registered email, post, or by visiting any branch in person by the specified deadline. Failure to update KYC information within the given timeframe may result in restrictions on account operations.
