Oil India Limited (OIL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan with the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, to implement an aspirational district project in Namsai. Under this MoU, OIL will provide financial support for the installation of a state-of-the-art Modular Operation Theatre (OT) system at the District Hospital in Namsai.
The MoU was signed by Shri C R Khampa, Deputy Commissioner of Namsai, and Shri Madhujya Baruah, Executive Director (HR & FA) of OIL, in the presence of officials from both the Deputy Commissioner’s office and OIL.
The modular OT will be equipped with advanced technology, enhancing the district hospital’s capacity and addressing gaps in existing healthcare infrastructure. This upgrade will significantly improve healthcare delivery in Namsai, making high-quality medical services more accessible and directly benefiting the local population.
With this initiative, OIL reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development, aligning with national objectives while strengthening community ties in its areas of operation. For the past six years, OIL has been actively contributing to various developmental activities in Namsai through its CSR efforts.
