The Ministry of Power is presenting its vision for a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2024, held from November 14th to 27th. As the nodal agency, NTPC has curated a cutting-edge Power Pavilion, focusing on India’s energy transition and ensuring energy security — key components of the nation’s sustainable future.
The Power Pavilion offers an immersive experience with interactive technologies like Virtual Reality games, an interactive LED globe, quiz panels, and touch-screen OLED displays, all aimed at enhancing the visitor experience. Through this engaging setup, the pavilion highlights India’s progress towards meeting its energy goals, with a special emphasis on green energy, net-zero emissions, and improved quality of life.
Several Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) under the Ministry of Power are also contributing to the initiative, promoting awareness of India’s green energy efforts and the long-term vision of energy sustainability. The Pavilion has attracted significant footfall, serving as a platform for visitors to learn about the nation’s energy landscape and its roadmap toward achieving ambitious energy goals by 2047.
