A review meeting of the Personnel Department was organized at the zonal level at the Aravali Auditorium, North Central Railway Headquarters, Prayagraj. The meeting, presided over by the Principal Chief Personnel Officer (PCPO), began with the Chief Personnel Officer (Administration) presenting a plant to the PCPO, Mr. Anurag Tripathi, as a gesture of welcome. The Chief Personnel Officer (Administration) highlighted the objectives of the meeting, following which the PCPO addressed the personnel officers present from all divisions, factories, and units of North Central Railway.
During the meeting, the PCPO emphasized the inspirational phrase “From thoughts to actions – actions to habits, habits to character, and character to destiny,” encouraging the development of a learning mindset for innovation and reconstruction. He stressed the importance of effective management in achieving excellence in work, describing it as essential from commitment to accomplishment. The meeting also included a review of pending tasks, current operations, and future plans, identifying these as appropriate means to achieve goals.
Upon the arrival of the General Manager, Mr. Upendra Chandra Joshi, at the Aravali Auditorium, the PCPO, Mr. Anurag Tripathi, welcomed him by presenting a live plant, after which the General Manager addressed the meeting. The Additional General Manager, Mr. J.S. Lakra, along with the heads of all departments of North Central Railway, were also present.
In this review meeting, presentations were made by Deputy Chief Personnel Officers, Senior Divisional Personnel Officers, and other personnel officers from the headquarters, divisions, factories, and units of North Central Railway on topics such as Single Window Cell, Compassionate Appointments, Final Settlement Payments, Selections, Trade Tests, Suitability, and Intending of Panels. Discussions were also held on developing the office in a new direction. The heads of all departments of North Central Railway were invited to share their thoughts on resolving related issues, with all expressing satisfaction with the work of the Personnel Department.
The PCPO advised the employees to undergo at least two online/offline training sessions to enhance their working methods and knowledge to the highest level. The General Manager mentioned that employee selections and promotions are happening on time, leading to complete satisfaction among the employees. He also urged other departments to coordinate with the Personnel Department to resolve their issues. The Additional General Manager informed the gathering that a CBT calendar has been prepared, which will soon help fill the vacant posts.
This review meeting by the Personnel Department was organized to enhance the efficiency, management style, and capacity to assimilate innovative ideas among all officers and employees.
