CMD, IREDA Honoured with CBIP Individual Award
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has received the prestigious ‘CBIP Award 2024’ for its outstanding initiatives to promote the development of the renewable energy industry. In a companion recognition, Shri Pradip Kumar Das, the Managing Director and Chairman of IREDA, also received the CBIP Individual Award for his extraordinary leadership and achievements in the development of renewable energy in the nation.
The awards were conferred at a function organized in New Delhi, which was presided over by Shri Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson of the Central Electricity Authority, and Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sinha, Chairman of the Central Water Commission. Shri Pradip Kumar Das, along with Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance), and other high-ranking officials of IREDA, received the honors on behalf of the organization.
During his address, Shri Pradip Kumar Das said, “This award is an expression of IREDA’s leadership in transforming India’s renewable energy sector. It is a nod to the dedication and efforts of Team IREDA, whose ingenuity and commitment to sustainability keep the sector moving forward.”. I would like to offer my heartfelt gratitude to CBIP for this recognition, and to the Hon’ble Union Minister, Hon’ble Union Minister of State, and Secretary of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), and our Board of Directors and MNRE and other ministry officials, for their kind support in our shared endeavor to create a greener and more sustainable tomorrow.
