Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), India’s leading city gas distribution company, has been conferred with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) Excellence Award 2025 for Operational Excellence in City Gas Distribution (CGD) – Pre-PNGRB Category for the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
The award was presented by Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri during the 19th PNGRB Foundation Day celebrations. It was received by IGL Managing Director Kamal Kishore Chatiwal and Director (Commercial) Mohit Bhatia, accompanied by members of the company’s senior leadership team.
The recognition celebrates IGL’s exemplary performance in expanding access to clean and affordable energy across Delhi, reflecting its strong operational efficiency, customer service excellence, and commitment to sustainability. Since its inception, IGL has played a pivotal role in driving India’s transition toward a gas-based economy by promoting the use of cleaner fuels such as CNG and PNG.
