GAIL (India) Limited has been conferred with the Mahatma Award 2025 for CSR Excellence, one of the most prestigious honours in the field of corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and inclusive development. The recognition highlights GAIL’s impactful contributions to nation-building and community empowerment.
Mahatma Awards, instituted in the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi’s values and mentored by Mrs. Rajshree Birla, Chairperson of Aditya Birla Center for Rural Development and Communication Initiative, celebrate organizations that make lasting social impact through responsible and sustainable practices.
The award was presented by Gandhian and founder of Mahatma Awards, Amit Sachdeva – widely known as the CSR Man of India – along with A. Annamalai, Director & Secretary, National Gandhi Museum. It was received on behalf of GAIL by Chairperson & Managing Director Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Director (HR) Ayush Gupta, Executive Director (CSR & HR) Anoop Gupta, and members of the CSR team.
