Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) took a significant step towards sustainability by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WEBEL). This partnership focuses on enhancing e-waste management across all DVC projects.
As part of this agreement, DVC will set up centralized e-waste collection centers at each of its project sites, making it easier for WEBEL to collect and process e-waste in compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, awareness programs will be implemented to promote responsible e-waste disposal practices among DVC personnel and stakeholders.
