Army Commanders’ Conference 2025: A Platform for Strategic Deliberations on National Security and Army Reforms

The conference of Army Commanders is being held in New Delhi from 1 to 4 April, 2025. The conference serves as a platform for senior officers of the Indian Army to review and assess the overall security status and to consult major operating priorities to deal with emerging challenges.

Hon’ble Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh will preside over the session and give the main speech. This session will also include a presentation on the ‘Year of Reforms’ in the Indian Army. Senior Army leadership will also be addressed by the Head of Defense (CDS). In the conference, a lecture will also be given by the CEO of NITI Aayog on the enclosed role of the armed forces in the creation of ‘Saksham and Strong India’.

According to the Indian Army’s tight, optimal, technically enabled and future prepared army target, senior hierarchy will also be involved in intensive consultation with experts for the introduction of new methods for effective decisions. As part of the deliberations, other issues will focus on increasing the overall organizational health and making the processes of the field army easier to make them more permanent and responsible. The forum will also discuss issues related to the welfare and goodness of its personnel with the aim of increasing the quality of life of soldiers and their families.
