India Limited (OIL) has strengthened public healthcare in Assam by installing a state -of -the -art Theulium fiber laser machine in the Urology Department of Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
This advanced equipment was inaugurated by Madhurjya Barua, ED (HR&FA), OIL. of Oil India today in the presence of Principal, GMCH Dr. Achyut Chandra Baishya, and senior medical staff. This device will make it possible for patients with kidney stones, which will reduce their recovery time and improve results. This initiative funded under Oil India’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program is helpful in focusing on the company’s health and nutrition and in line with national priorities to increase access to advanced medical technology.
Expressing gratitude, Principal Baishya said that this machine would significantly benefit patients from Assam and Northeast. Through this contribution, Oil India Limited confirms its commitment to inclusive healthcare and community welfare.
