The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Central Organization for Railway Electrification (CORE) headquarters in Prayagraj. Shri Ashok Kumar Verma, General Manager of CORE, hoisted the national flag and received the salute from the R.P.F. guard. On this auspicious occasion, the General Manager extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire CORE family.
Shri Verma reported that, in the current financial year, 106 route kilometers of electrification, 09 traction sub-stations, 46 SP and SSPs, 09 tower wagon sheds, 04 O.H.E. depots, and 210 staff quarters have been completed, along with the development of 33 vendors.
The General Manager emphasized the importance of safety and security in the electrification works and also stressed the promotion and dissemination of Hindi. He praised the steps taken by CORE to complete electrification projects in a timely and successful manner.
