SANDEEP KUMAR | :- Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) to strengthen its IT backbone and accelerate digital transformation. The collaboration aims to deliver secure, scalable banking technology solutions aligned with India’s Digital India vision.
The MoU was signed at C-DOT headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of senior executives from both organisations. The agreement positions PNB to rapidly adopt advanced, indigenous technologies while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust cybersecurity.
Under the partnership, C-DOT will provide a comprehensive suite of products and services—including switching and routing systems, wireless technology, software applications, cybersecurity and quantum communication solutions. End-to-end support will cover solution design, integration, deployment, operational assistance, and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliable, secure operations.
PNB representatives said the alliance will accelerate modernisation, improve customer touchpoints, and enable seamless digital banking across India. C-DOT leadership highlighted the collaboration as a step toward an “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” supporting innovation and inclusive financial services.
This strategic agreement enhances PNB’s ability to offer faster, more reliable, and customer-centric digital banking while reinforcing trust in technology-driven financial services nationwide.
