New Delhi, September 25, 2025 – Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO), one of India’s leading farmer-owned fertilizer cooperatives, reported a pre-tax profit of ₹692.74 crore for FY 2024–25. The Society announced a 20% dividend on its equity capital for member cooperative societies during its 45th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) held at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.
The AGM approved the Society’s annual accounts and declared a dividend reflecting its strong financial performance. The meeting was significant as it marked the inaugural AGM of KRIBHCO’s newly constituted Board of Directors, presided over by Chairman V. Sudhakar Chowdary in the presence of board members and delegates from across India.
The gathering was attended by cooperative leaders, member society representatives, and KRIBHCO officials. Managing Director S.S. Yadav highlighted the sustained efficiency, operational excellence, and expansion efforts of KRIBHCO and its subsidiaries.
KRIBHCO’s performance underscores its role in supporting Indian agriculture by ensuring fertilizer availability, diversifying agri-products, and contributing to cooperative-led rural development. Achievements include:
• Urea production: 24.34 lakh MT (110.91% capacity utilization).
• Ammonia production: 14.26 lakh MT (114.33% capacity utilization).
• Fertilizer sales: 51.80 lakh MT, including Neem Coated Urea, DAP, MAP, MOP, Bio-fertilizers, and seed varieties.
KRIBHCO’s subsidiaries played a pivotal role:
• KRIBHCO Fertilizers Ltd (KFL) produced 11.35 lakh MT Urea and 6.96 lakh MT Ammonia, achieving over 130% capacity utilization, and declared a dividend of ₹14.40 crore.
• KRIBHCO Agri Business Ltd (KABL) recorded a turnover of ₹1,752 crore through domestic and international sales of oilseeds, pulses, spices, and cereals.
• KRIBHCO Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. is constructing plants at Hazira (Gujarat) and Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), due to start operations in FY 2025–26.
Aligned with the Government’s “Sahakar Se Samriddhi” vision, KRIBHCO continues to promote cooperative-led initiatives. As the lead promoter of Bharatiya Beej Sahakari Samiti Limited (BBSSL) and joint promoter of National Cooperative Export Limited (NCEL), it is strengthening seed development and agri-exports under the guidance of the Ministry of Cooperation.
KRIBHCO’s Gramin Vikas Trust has positively impacted over 2 million rural lives through programs in healthcare, education, and gender equality. Its efforts in sustainable farming include free soil testing, integrated agriculture, and promoting judicious fertilizer use.
The Society also celebrated cooperators’ contributions:
• Arvidbhai Tagadiya (Gujarat) was honoured with the “Sahakarita Shiromani Award.”
• Shailajadevi D. Nikam (Maharashtra) received the “Sahakarita Vibhushan Award.”
Recognised with multiple awards from FAI, PRSI, and others, KRIBHCO reaffirmed its commitment to farmers, sustainability, and cooperative values in the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
