Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, felicitated India’s Eventing and Dressage teams for their outstanding performance at the FEI Asian Equestrian Championship 2025 in Pattaya. The contingent of six athletes returned with five medals, marking a historic achievement at the continental level.
Ashish Limaye secured an individual gold in Eventing and a team silver, while Shruti Vora won three silvers in individual and team Dressage events. Other team members included Shashank Singh Kataria and Shashank Kanmuri in Eventing and Divyakriti Singh and Gaurav Pundir in Dressage.

He announced plans to establish a quarantine centre in India within a year, facilitating easier movement of horses for international competitions and promoting a self-sufficient equestrian ecosystem.
