Pune: Bajaj Auto on Friday reported a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹2,750 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025, driven by robust sales volume growth across domestic and overseas markets.
The Pune-based two-wheeler and three-wheeler major had posted a net profit of ₹2,196 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Revenue from operations surged to ₹16,204 crore in Q3, compared with ₹13,169 crore a year ago, according to a regulatory filing.
Overall sales volumes during the quarter rose 10 per cent year-on-year to 13,41,252 units, up from 12,24,472 units in the year-ago period. Domestic sales increased 3 per cent to 7,31,037 units, while exports recorded a strong 18 per cent growth to 6,10,215 units, reflecting improving demand in international markets.
Commenting on demand trends, Executive Director Rakesh Sharma said the boost in the two-wheeler segment following the GST rate cut has supported volumes, though its sustainability would depend on inflationary pressures and currency movements. “The demand momentum will last as long as inflation does not erode the purchasing power of customers,” Sharma said during an earnings call, also flagging the potential impact of rupee depreciation.
The company reported record quarterly volumes in Q3, with significant improvement in sales momentum observed during December 2025 and January 2026, indicating sustained recovery in key markets.
