CMD, Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan addressed the 2024 Director’s Conclave and the 34th IOD Annual Day in New Delhi today, alongside Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (I/C) for Law & Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, along with other senior dignitaries. The event was organized by the Institute of Directors (IOD).
During his speech, Shri Dewangan focused on the Conclave’s theme, which centered on ‘Emerging Trends in Corporate Governance and Building Inclusive Boards.’ He emphasized the growing importance of integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into Corporate Governance. He also discussed how REC is aligning its governance framework with ESG principles, highlighting the company’s commitment to transparency and ethical practices.
