OIL India Limited (OIL) participated in the one -day workshop “Best Processes of AI/ML in oil and gas public sector undertakings” organized by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Center for High Technology (CHT). The workshop was held at the auditorium at OIDB Bhawan, Noida.
On behalf of Oil, a cross -functional team led by Mr. Sanjay Goswami, Chief General Manager (IT) gave technical performances based on various use cases, experiences and benefits received under the OIL -Drive Project.
In his inaugural address, Mr. Goswami highlighted the Digital Parivartan Yatra-Project Drive-started in 2018-19 and announced the beginning of its second phase. He shared the outline of connecting the organization users to the AI/ML platform, underlining the need to promote AI/ML culture in the oil.
In the workshop, Mr. Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma, Deputy General Manager (Reservoir) presented on “AI-ML based Reserve Modeling”, while Mr. Prateek Barua, Chief Engineer (GMS) shared the information on the Condition based maintenance (CBM) of the engine-powered natural gas compressors in the engine-powered natural gas compressors “.
The technical initiatives and presentations of the oil were highly appreciated at the workshop, which clarified the company’s commitment to digital excellence.
