Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) organized MSME Seva Parv-2025: Virasat se Vikas from 28th to 30th September 2025 at Rudraksh International Cooperation & Convention Centre, Varanasi. Union Minister of MSME, Jitan Ram Manjhi, presided over the event, while Union Minister of State for MSME, Shobha Karandlaje, inaugurated the occasion. The event brought together over 1,500 beneficiaries of various MSME schemes, local artisans, and craftspersons to celebrate cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, and community service.
The three-day event featured a 130-stall exhibition-cum-sale showcasing products made by local artisans and craftspersons, promoting entrepreneurship and local craftsmanship. A Swachhata Karyakram at Namo Ghat encouraged community participation in cleanliness drives, reinforcing the spirit of service and social responsibility.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister of MSME, Jitan Ram Manjhi, emphasized the significance of the MSME sector in employment generation and economic empowerment, stating, “Strengthening the MSME sector is essential as it serves as a vital medium for generating employment and empowering our people. With this, our future looks bright.” He also highlighted initiatives such as Udyam Registration, PMEGP, CGTMSE, and NSSH, underlining the Ministry’s support in providing training, toolkits, and bank loans to beneficiaries.
Union Minister of State for MSME, Shobha Karandlaje, emphasized the role of MSMEs in building a Viksit Bharat, promoting Swadeshi, and enhancing GDP, exports, and entrepreneurship. She stressed the importance of government initiatives such as PM Vishwakarma, PMEGP, and Udyam Registration in supporting entrepreneurs with technology, skill development, and financial assistance.
MoUs, including an agreement between Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) for marketing support. Additionally, loan certificates were distributed to PMV beneficiaries, margin money subsidies to PMEGP beneficiaries, and toolkits to GVY beneficiaries, reinforcing the government’s commitment to nurturing MSMEs.
