Union Minister for Communications and Development of North East Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia today launched the AI-powered mobile application for India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, setting the tone for the upcoming 9th edition of Asia’s largest digital technology event. Themed “Innovate to Transform”, the app is designed to make IMC 2025 more intelligent, interactive, and inclusive.
The AI-driven IMC 2025 app was officially launched at a ceremony attended by key dignitaries including Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development; Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary (Telecom); Lt. Gen. Dr. S.P. Kochhar, Director General, COAI; and Shri P. Ramakrishna, CEO, India Mobile Congress.
The launch took place in New Delhi ahead of the IMC 2025, scheduled from October 8–11, 2025 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka.
Calling IMC “a platform of possibilities,” Shri Scindia said: “With this app, we are turning those possibilities into connections, collaborations and outcomes. Our vision is to blend technology with accessibility so that every attendee—from students to CEOs—experiences the future of digital innovation instantly and at their fingertips.”
The app introduces next-generation tools to redefine event participation. Features include:
- Live streaming of sessions for global engagement.
- AI-powered ‘IMC Suggests’ concierge recommending sessions, networking opportunities, and facilities.
- Seamless meeting and calendar integration for delegates.
- Real-time networking tools connecting startups, investors, and industry leaders.
- AI-driven Snippet tool generating shareable video highlights.
- Co-Pilot chatbot for instant event assistance.
- Interactive photo booth, live polls, and contests for attendee engagement.
The app is especially designed to support students and startups, opening avenues for mentorship, investment, and collaboration, making IMC 2025 youth-centric and innovation-driven.

9th edition of IMC promises over 1,000 use cases across 5G/6G, AI, IoT, quantum computing, cybersecurity, clean tech, semiconductors, and smart mobility. Co-hosted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), the event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, startups, and academia from India and abroad.
