Today, SJVN’s inaugural Customer Meet was successfully held in New Delhi. The event was honored by the presence of Sh. V. K. Singh, Chief Guest and Member Secretary of Northern Regional Power Committee (NRPC), along with Sh. R.K. Chaudhary, CMD (Additional Charge); Sh. Sushil Sharma, Director (Projects); Sh. Prem Prakash, CVO; and senior representatives of various State-DISCOMs.
In his welcoming address, Sh. R.K. Chaudhary pointed out the key role played by the stakeholders in the journey of SJVN for the last three decades. He emphasized that the Customer Meet provides a platform to interface with beneficiaries, understand their concerns, and find innovative ways to resolve issues together. He reinforced the Shared Vision of the company to achieve 50,000 MW by 2040 and commitment to providing reliable, sustainable, and affordable power to meet the growing energy needs of the country.
Chief Guest Sh. V.K. Singh, in his inaugural address, stressed that an open dialogue and mutual understanding are key in this dynamic arena of energy system as India pursues her noble goals on energy, adding that such forums are critical in strengthening the common pursuit of a resilient and sustainable power sector.
The Customer Meet envisaged fostering engagement with beneficiaries and stakeholders while pursuing common objectives of operational excellence, environmental sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
Additionally, much of the discussions centered around a need for adapting to beneficiaries’ changing power sectors, improving service delivery systems, and deepening institutional partnerships within an organized framework. The event was concluded by an interaction where useful insights and feedbacks were provided by stakeholders, leading to actionable resolutions and enhanced cooperation.
The SJVN initiative is a notable step towards transparency, effectiveness, and future-oriented engagement with its customers and stakeholders.
