Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, organised a “Walkathon” in Dwarka, New Delhi, to raise public awareness about integrity, transparency, and collective responsibility.
The event was organised as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, aligning with the Central Vigilance Commission’s theme — “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
PNB’s Executive Directors B. P. Mahapatra and D. Surendran, along with Chief Vigilance Officer Raghvendra Kumar, led the Walkathon, joined by a large number of employees who participated with enthusiasm and commitment.
The Walkathon aimed to encourage citizens and employees alike to embrace ethical conduct and accountability in their daily lives. Participants carried banners and placards promoting vigilance values, reinforcing the message that vigilance is a shared responsibility for a corruption-free society.
Through initiatives like this, PNB continues to strengthen its culture of integrity, transparency, and good governance, reaffirming its dedication to building a more responsible and ethical financial ecosystem.
