In a major advancement toward green energy, ONGC has partnered with The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd. (TGREDCO) to explore and develop the Manuguru Geothermal Field in the Pranhita Godavari (PG) Basin, Telangana.
This significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on August 2, 2024, with the signing ceremony held at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad. The event was attended by SCCL’s CMD N Balram, IRS, ONGC Director (Exploration) Sushma Rawat, SCCL Director (Planning & Projects) G Venkateswara Reddy, and TGREDCO Vice Chair & Managing Director N Janaiah.
