NTPC Vindhyachal, India’s largest thermal power station, has been conferred the World Safety Organization (WSO) Platinum Award 2025 in the Five-Star Category for its outstanding performance in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) management. The award was presented during a ceremony held in Mumbai on October 14, 2025.
Accolade was received by Sanjib Kumar Saha, Chief General Manager (Vindhyachal), and Ashish Agrawal, Additional General Manager (Safety), from GMEK Raj, Director General (Retd.), DGFASLI, Ministry of Labour & Employment, and Uwe Georg Fischer, Managing Director, Zahoransky Mould and Machine, Germany.
Recognition celebrates NTPC Vindhyachal’s unwavering commitment to maintaining world-class safety standards, ensuring a secure and efficient workplace for over 850 employees and 8,000 contract workers.
