NTPC Limited marked Swachhata Hi Seva with a series of cleanliness and community welfare activities across its project locations, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable living, public health, and inclusive community development.
At the Southern Region Headquarters in Hyderabad, employees and volunteers conducted a major cleanliness drive at the historic Golkonda Fort, combining heritage preservation with public awareness.
At NTPC Lara, a Swachhotsav programme was organised where 150 sanitation workers were felicitated in recognition of their invaluable service to society. NTPC Kanti observed the day with a Prabhat Pheri rally, spreading awareness on hygiene, followed by a large-scale cleanliness campaign.
In NTPC Kawas, a free health check-up camp was arranged for contractual sanitation workers to promote preventive healthcare and improve awareness on hygiene practices.
These initiatives, carried out under the banner of Swachhata Hi Seva, not only honoured the contributions of sanitation workers but also mobilised employees, families, and communities to take collective action towards a healthier lifestyle and sustainable environment.
