The Ministry of Defense has given M/s Ace Limited for the purchase of 1868 Rough Terrain Fork Lift Truck (RTFLT) for the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy with M/S JCB India Limited on a contract of ₹ 697.35 crore R. Of. Signed in the presence of Singh.
Rough Terren Fork Lift Truck (RTFLT) is an important tool, which will help in various war and logistics support, which will not require manually pick up heavy goods and thus operating Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy Capacity will increase.
The case is under the ‘Bay (Indian)’ scheme, which will promote national defense equipment manufacturing capacity. The project has a great possibility of direct and indirect employment creation by encouraging the construction of components through the MSME region. This purchase is an important step towards modernizing India’s defense infrastructure and empowering indigenous industries, which will become a symbol of ‘self -reliant India’.
