GAIL India Limited, in collaboration with Bajaj Auto Ltd., launched the world’s first CNG-powered bike, the Bajaj Freedom 125, in Bhubaneswar. The event was attended by Shri H.K. Garg, ED (CGD), GAIL, along with representatives from Bajaj Auto Ltd.
As part of its CNG promotion initiative, GAIL introduced a special offer for the first 100 customers of the CNG bike in the Khurda (Bhubaneswar) Gas Area, providing free CNG filling up to 10 kg through redeemable coupons. These coupons can be used at all GAIL-owned and operated (COCO) stations in Khurda and Cuttack.
Shri H.K. Garg distributed the coupons and informed attendees about the numerous benefits of CNG over traditional petrol-powered bikes. The introduction of this new CNG vehicle variant is expected to significantly encourage the use of CNG, a cleaner and more environmentally friendly fuel alternative.
