Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Reliance BP Mobility Limited (RBML) have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen the City Gas Distribution (CGD) and CNG sales business, aiming to broaden the availability of cleaner and more sustainable fuel options across key urban and semi-urban markets.
Agreement was formalized in a high-level ceremony attended by senior officials from both companies, including Rouf Khan, CGM, Projects & Marketing (Gas), BPCL, and Sanjay Pandita, Head, Gaseous Fuels, RBML, alongside Sarthak Behuria, Chairman, RBML, and Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing), BPCL. The collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to accelerate India’s transition towards a gas-based economy.
Under BPCL’s Project Aspire, the partnership seeks to enhance customer access to CNG and other gaseous fuels, promoting cleaner energy alternatives and supporting the nation’s sustainable development and climate action goals. The initiative will leverage the combined infrastructure, technology, and distribution networks of BPCL and RBML to ensure wider reach, operational efficiency, and improved consumer convenience.
