In a move aimed at making electric vehicle (EV) charging more intuitive, accessible and customer-centric, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahindra to integrate BPCL’s EV charging ecosystem with Mahindra’s digital mobility platforms.
Under the collaboration, BPCL’s EV charging stations will be integrated into the Me4U mobile application as well as Mahindra’s in-car infotainment systems, enabling EV users to seamlessly discover, navigate to, charge at, and pay for charging services through a unified digital interface.
The MoU was signed by Shri Gorav Tomar, CGM (Marketing), Retail HQ, BPCL, and Shri Kedar Apte, Senior Vice President and Head – Charging, Mahindra, in the presence of Shri Pardeep Goyal, Business Head (Retail), BPCL.
The integration will allow real-time visibility of BPCL EV charger locations on Mahindra vehicle dashboards, enhancing convenience, route planning and confidence for EV users. Through the Me4U app, customers will gain access to end-to-end charging services, including charger discovery, navigation assistance and digital payments, contributing to a frictionless charging experience.
The partnership supports India’s electric mobility goals by strengthening digital infrastructure around EV charging and improving customer adoption through ease of use and interoperability. It reflects BPCL’s commitment to building a robust, technology-enabled EV charging network, while aligning with Mahindra’s focus on advancing sustainable and connected mobility solutions for the future.
