Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been honored with the prestigious Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The award acknowledges BHEL’s exemplary efforts in promoting Hindi as the official language throughout its operations.
The award was presented to BHEL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. K. Sadashiv Murthy, by Mr. Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, during the Hindi Diwas celebrations and the 4th All India Official Language Conference held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 14th September 2024. Director (HR), Mr. Krishna Kumar Thakur, also attended the event.
BHEL secured the third position in the category of public sector enterprises located in Region ‘C’.
