Sandeep Kumar | New Delhi | India took a significant leap in global aviation leadership as the Agreement Signing Ceremony for Routes Asia 2027 was successfully held at The Ashok, New Delhi.
Vipin Kumar, IAS, Chairman, Airports Authority of India (AAI), along with senior officials and board members from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and AAI.
The agreement paves the way for India to host Routes Asia 2027, a premier aviation event that brings together airlines, airports, and aviation stakeholders from across the Asia-Pacific region. event was hosted at The Ashok, New Delhi, marking a prestigious moment for the Indian aviation sector.
The initiative underscores India’s growing role in the global aviation ecosystem, aligned with the vision of “Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN)”—making air travel affordable and accessible for every citizen. It also supports the national goal of Viksit Bharat, by driving connectivity, tourism, trade, and employment opportunities.
Through hosting Routes Asia 2027, India aims to:

- Ignite opportunities for youth in aviation and allied sectors.
- Showcase Incredible India on a global stage.
Chairman Vipin Kumar reaffirmed AAI’s commitment to advancing India’s aviation sector and said the event would unlock the potential of India’s skies, fuel economic growth, and further position India as a global aviation hub.
