SAIL Carried forward digital transformation with McKinseyi and Company India LLP

New Delhi, 24 March 2025: India’s Maharatna PSU Steel Producer Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has signed a strategic agreement with McKinsey and Company India LLP to carry forward the company’s digital transformation program. The purpose of this cooperation is to promote operational efficiency, customer experience and technological innovation.

The main goal of this agreement is to promote modernization of business processes, adaptation of performance, and sustainable development in the digital landscape. Under this, Sail will adopt state -of -the -art digital capabilities, so that the company remains competitive and can provide excellent value to customers.

SAIL and McKinzi will jointly apply state -of -the -art digital solutions, taking advantage of advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and data analytics.

The process from digital transformation project mining to marketing will focus on the major areas of the price chain, ensuring easy integration of innovative solutions. Under this initiative, an ambitious target of creation of Rs 1000 crore has been set every year, which will be met within 3 years.

This cooperation reflects the strategic vision of SAIL, in which the company not only wants to excel in steel production, but is also ready to play a leading role in the digital age.
