India and Singapore have signed a letter of intent to promote digitization and decarbonization in the maritime sector. India, which is a pioneer in information technology, has the ability to become a major producer and exporter of green marine fuels. At the same time, Singapore supports an important transpiration and bunkering center as well as a strong research and innovation ecosystem.
Green and digital solutions in the sea field
The cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened through Singapore-India GDSC. This initiative will boost the development and adoption of zero or minimum greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which will make the maritime industry more durable and digitally capable.
