Shri Kiren Rijiju, Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Government of India, visited the 220/66 kV Drass Substation in Kargil district today.
Shri Arshad Iqbal, Chief General Manager (In-Charge), POWERGRID Ladakh, and was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kargil during the visit.
POWERGRID’s dedicated efforts in executing power infrastructure projects in the extremely challenging terrains of Ladakh, noting that such initiatives are vital for strengthening connectivity and ensuring reliable power supply in the strategically important region.
