THDC India Limited (THDCIL) organized a farewell ceremony to honour Shri Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), for his illustrious career and outstanding contributions that significantly shaped the growth and culture of the organization.
Shri R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), THDCIL, and Shri Bhupender Gupta, Director (Technical), along with senior officials, employees, and representatives of union associations.
CMD Shri R. K. Vishnoi lauded Shri Singh’s visionary initiatives in HR and his humane approach to employee welfare, noting that “his stewardship has not only strengthened systems and policies but nurtured a culture of trust, inclusivity, and motivation within THDCIL.” He further emphasized Shri Singh’s ability to balance empathy with discipline, ensuring that employees felt valued while organizational priorities were met with precision.
Director (Technical) Shri Bhupender Gupta highlighted that Shri Singh’s leadership extended well beyond HR, as he successfully guided CSR, Corporate Communication, IT, and Legal functions, thereby reinforcing THDCIL’s organizational fabric and public standing.
Shri Shallinder Singh described his journey at THDCIL as “immensely fulfilling and driven by teamwork, shared purpose, and the unwavering support of colleagues.” He expressed gratitude for the trust reposed in him and extended heartfelt good wishes for the continued success of the organization.
The ceremony witnessed heartfelt tributes from colleagues and employees, who praised Shri Singh’s approachable nature, meticulous planning, and pioneering spirit. Representatives of Union Associations also lauded his inclusive leadership style.
