POWERGRID has received Letter of Intent (LoI) for TBCB project: Transmission System for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Ph-IV (Part-4: 3.5 GW): Part A with estimated cost of ₹5,846 Crore (NCT estimations). It includes establishment of 765/400 kV sub-station near Ghiror (Distt. Mainpuri) in Uttar Pradesh, 765 kV & 400 kV lines traversing Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh, augmentation & bay extension works. This is part of transmission scheme for evacuation of power from Fatehgarh/Barmer Complex in Rajasthan.
