On August 15th, POWERGRID celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and spirit. The event was led by Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD of POWERGRID, who hoisted the national flag at the POWERGRID headquarters in Gurgaon.
In his address, Shri R. K. Tyagi highlighted India’s growing global influence and the nation’s remarkable progress and achievements. He emphasized POWERGRID’s commitment to contributing to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047 and underscored POWERGRID’s role in this transformative journey.
